Main tasks

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef who is experienced in Indian curries and tandoor items to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in restaurant management and kitchen leadership. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes are served, and maintaining a well-organized kitchen environment. Your creativity and expertise will help elevate our menu offerings and enhance the dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
Lead the kitchen team in food preparation and cooking, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient operations.
Maintain inventory of food supplies and manage ordering to minimize waste.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
Assist in managing kitchen budgets and controlling costs without compromising quality.
Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to continuously improve offerings.

    Skills and Qualifications

    Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
    Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
    Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
    Familiarity with restaurant management practices, including inventory control and cost management.
    Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and guests.
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
    Certification in food handling or culinary arts is preferred but not required.
