Main tasks

The Night Auditor plays a key role in guest satisfaction and the smooth operation of the hotel outside of regular business hours. From late arrivals to early departures, you will be the welcoming face and essential support for our guests while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the hotel’s financial operations.

Your Role:

Provide exceptional guest service, even when working independently at night.

Handle unexpected situations calmly, resolving technical and interpersonal issues quickly and efficiently.

Participate in the hotel’s accounting processes, including:

Verifying guest accounts.

Conducting precise nightly audits of financial transactions.

Preparing and submitting financial reports to management.

Collaborate with accounting and supervisors while exercising autonomy and making sound decisions on the spot.

  • Provide warm and professional service to guests, handling late-night check-ins, inquiries, and requests.
  • Ensure the comfort and well-being of guests during overnight hours.
  • Perform nightly audit of financial transactions, including guest charges and payments.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and preparing end-of-day reports for management.
  • Perform the closing of the day in the computer system and complete reports on this for accounting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient hotel operations.
  • Support the front desk team in addressing any issues or emergencies that may arise overnight.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position is a dedicated, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses a strong sense of hospitality. They will be responsible for guest check-ins, addressing inquiries, and providing personalized service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and cared for

Comfortable using computers and hotel management systems.

Strong problem-solving skills, capable of thinking on your feet and resolving complex issues independently.

High sense of responsibility and attention to detail, especially in financial matters.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage sensitive situations professionally.

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and financial accountability.
  • Ability to maintain composure under sustained pressure
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Highschool Degree or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks during the night shift.
  • Flexibility to work overnight hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Bilingue; multilingue un atout
